a good start for a new year?

I have soooooo much in my head to blog about; but nevertheless, ever since 2010 arrived, i haven't got the time to blog anymore =(

Lately I have been keeping late nights; not because I was out somewhere but I ended work late and reached home late. Honestly, I loved to have some personal time to myself everyday; no matter how late I ended the day.

Hopefully, I will be able to end work early tomorrow... cos I have got lovely pics to show >_

Is business a good start for a new year? xD i am contradicting myself; still, I am happy that I finally felt that I lived my life to the fullest each day when I returned home exhausted. =)

Dedicated This To My Sweetie...

Monday 11:45pm

Before I actually start blogging, I added the time I started blogging... since I know that by the time I've finished the entry, it will be tuesday. =.=

Weeeelllll; today's a special day for my friend ---> Its Amelia's Birthday!! ^^ and we had a GOOD time last saturday karaoke~ing... Melia invited me to her party; a clebration which took place in a very "懐かしい" 場所... =) Cuppage Plaza's Family Karaoke. Honestly, I haven't been anywhere near there after I graduated from Poly.

Anyway, we had FUN and I really mean a hell lot of FUN!!! Furthermore, since I do not know Melia's friends well, @first I expected it might be a little awkward... But they are really fun and nice! ^^

Everything started by hmm.. "hihi " (acknowledgments) then drinking~~ Melia kept passing me the controller -- but haha i too shy to sing lor!!! xD

After a couple of drinks...

We start taking PICTURES...

Nevertheless, toku looked tipsy...
No matter how many times we re-took, his eyes looked small..

Finally Bigger eyes...

Group Pics...

The cake was brought in earlier since some of Melia's friends (including me)
needed to leave early..

We sang 4 different versions of Birthday Song
(English/Mandarin/Cantonese/Japanese)

*****Lovely Kisses' blessed from friends...*****

and Another...

I supposed Toku was having fun being both our waiter and cameraman...

I am glad that I managed to celebrate Melia's birthday this year; since I did not get the chance to really celebrate a wild one for her since A&E days... But dunno why, kinda upset when Melia said that Toku's leaving for Japan this wednesday... Hmm... he really become "one of us"; our friend since time past... and I am sure Melia and I will miss those "chiong" days we & Toku had... I hope he will visit sg soon..

**********************************

After the ktv session, jason and I went Cathay for our movie...

We caught.....

A very nice show yet quite an unexpectable ending. Well FIRSTLY, unexpectable since she (the actress) did not end up with her ex-husband in the end. And secondly, i puked (urrrrgghhh..) since I had too much a drink and too fast, earlier on... (>_<)"""

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the witty chat throughout the show; and I must apologise to Jason, whom waited for me for melia's celebration to end...

Slimmy...

Mummy waited for me @Lot 1 after work; and I went to meet her after my meal with my colleagues... I felt guilty cos I let her waited since she did not call me when she reached CCK... >.<

I bought BEDSHEETS, a bolster for myself and some cushion covers - for the sofa... =) Sometimes I think I am finding reasons to shop =.=""" But I really enjoyed the night with mummy, cos it had been quite a LONG time ago ever since we last went out together... Its always nice to have mummy shopping around with you together, despite all that nagging! =)

Trying a new product out lately...

Slimming Cream for my flabby bulging tummy!!!

The Main Attraction is Liposuction Effect without PAIN! and Slimming Concentrate for cellulite reduction...

I really hope it works !!! =)

Life Is.....

My post is delayed as once again, I am crippled by all those HTML codes and stuffs... People using my IE could not read my posts... I have realised it just yesterday when I happened to surf it with my IE instead of my default mozilla browser. I've just amended the codes -  using my limited computer knowledge and surfing blogskins for some kind-souls aids...

I wept yesterday; after I watched an "OCTO" documentary... I was upset and disturbed by what I saw...
And THIS!
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
was what I've seen...

Yes... it is not some "JU-ON" or other horror flick pic, but a live 5-year old girl... She is little Julia Wetmore, and her story was shown as a documentary on OCTO channel. Interested readers can go to http://www.julianawetmore.net on her live story.

Honestly, I've been questioning myself since after I watched the documentary, NOT because I pitied her... But I've been asking myself again and again, HOW MANY TIMES ARE WE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT WE HAD?

HAVE WE BEEN DOING OUR SELF-REFLECTIONS?

The answer is "NO"! ---> Simply because I am also like anyone of you out there, grumbling and grumbling about how fucking fucked-up my life is; neither being satisfied with what I had currently... Photoshop cannot help to make the life of little julie better; since this is REALITY and she must live in such hell whereby getting shocking stares from the public, nevertheless, leading her cheerful and optimistic life...

Are we actually doing the same? I doubt so, since I am so self-conscious of my figure, my looks, thinking how ugly my mum had born me with a big nose, too flat faced etc.etc blah blah blah *as the list might go on*

What is the actual definition of UGLY anyway? Shouldn't all those RICH artistes and people spend the plastic surgery on such people who needed them much better than us? We should always praise the lord for giving us a healthy life, a normal face and a normal life...
************************

Life is full of unfairness, misery and is just like full of reflections.... and most of the time, we are blinded because of the "ripples" on the surface and we couldn't see beneath the bottom... I had 7 stitches when I fell down and hit my chin, which still leaves a scar till now.. The throbbing pain is unbearable, but for a 5-year old kid going for surgery every 3 months; which is worse?

The documentary sounded like an AWAKENING CALL for me... Waking me up from the surroundings; going back to the reality...

Being ambitious is good, but too much of it overflows like water in a cup; and becomes GREED.... I am really thankful now for what I am now; what I have and owned; that I am still living each and every day and every moment I spend right now, i will definitely cherish everything...

*Perfume Passion*

My Bold Statement

*** I am a perfume FREAK!!***

Honestly I am not sure why, especially since when I've got a really sensitive nose, and I suffer from "Sinusitis" (short form - sinus) but it doesn't stop my ravish passion for perfumes... I really indulge in buying them, erhem.. or should I put it as collecting them.

I do not have specific peference for the type of Scent - since I've got quite a couple of different types of fragrance. I could still recall my very first time buying a perfume. I bought my very first bottle from a shop in Jurong Entertainment Center when I was secondary 1 . It was a miniature perfume, and come to think of it now, I am kinda pissed off with the seller whom sold it -- since I understand now that miniatures are actually slashed from perfume samplers... I bought a Versace Red Jeans then, thinking how "COOL" it was, with the mini metal tin. But "bleah", it rusted all the way down to the bottom a few years after keeping it. The very second bottle was quite a big one, those 150ml kind (JPG machine) received from my classmates during my 13th birthday celebration. Nevertheless, it was stolen by "a few good friends" of mine when I invited them to my house. *curses!*

I was kind of upset when it got stolen and it was after quite some years later, when I was around 17 and got the spending power, that I worked and splurge on perfumes...

************************************

Recently, I splurged on perfumes again... *blushes*

Not one, but added THREE more to my collection...

And,

The One Which I liked the most..............................

Yups..... it's LOLA, from Marc Jacobs!! I was roaming through Robinsons aimlessly at that point of time, and I did not intend to shop, but the bright colors and simple packaging caught my eye as it was displayed really just SIMPLE yet colorful and noticeable. The sales assistant attended and I sampled the fragrance of the perfume.

The actual attention was not only about the packaging, but it was the actual bottle itself...

Dont'cha think that its really lovely?

The bottle is a little love-shaped, purple in color with the golden part molded like gold strings attached to it, with the most outstanding, marvelous cap design...

Taking a glimpse from the top of the bottle:

What a lovely sight! And "LOLA" a simple yet UNIQUE name for it...

Besides, this beauty comes with a little additional something...

I dunno honestly whether it is a free sample when you purchase a big bottle or not, but it was given to me from the sales assistant (raffles city robinsons) -- Marc Jacob's DAISY shower gel and moisturizing cream set with a miniature DAISY perfume... Hahaha, please don't hesitate to bug him for a free sample if you intended to buy, but if he doesn't give you a little something, maybe is because I am more CHIO ba... LOL!
p/s: The floral design on daisy box resembles those nail art flowers! kekeke

***

The next two bottles aren't as eye-catching but their fragrance are just as wonderful --> not "sexy" feeling, but one is quite floral and the other, refreshing and sporty...

I bought this Paul Smith ROSE from Changi Terminal 3... Despite having beautifully decorated bottle/design (which is why I did not take much pictures about it), spraying this babe teleports you from reality into a rose field!!! Very feminine, yet light and lovely perfume... despite its plain designs; is worthy of you indulging in its rose sensation... It also comes with a rose-design pouch, for you to keep your perfume bottle inside, which alternatively you may use it to keep your sunglasses/small accessories?!

Yeap, the very last bottle I invested on was what as seen in the attached picture...

***Burberry's The Beat***

Most recent perfume launched by Burberry's, I was quite fascinated with the television commercial before I actually went down to perfume shop to source for it. I got it together with Paul Smith's Rose at Terminal 3; Simple classic design from Burberry's, its evergreen Burberry's trademark pattern makes it just "BURBERRY". Offering a more refreshing scent, The Beat is one for a hectic lifestyle like the city beat.

3 different perfumes from 3 different merchants. Yet 3 different fragrance for 3 different types of moods and personality - depending on whether to feel SEXY, FEMININE or SPORTY! Are you ready for the challange? Find out which one is your favourite today ! and indulge in the perfume mania!!!

New Year Day and Weekend.. (Part II)

I woke up quite early on New Year's Day... well its New Year so I assume it is worthwhile waking up all early?!
Both New Year Day and the weekend ahead was all MOVIES!!! Jason wanted to go shopping @orchard central so we both went out around in the evening. We caught dinner's @Thank God It's Friday, but yup, I haven't got the pictures from him which I am able to post currently, but never mind, I will try to upload them later...

Friday's

We caught both movies at Cineleisure Orchard. =) After dinner @HMV's "Thank God It's Friday" we headed over to Cineleisure and grabbed tickets for The Vampire's Assistant. This movie have no ending, and it is definitely to have an up-coming sequel. A simple storyline, much of the "freaks" are actually kind of CUTE and several funny parts really makes you laugh..

Well, as expected from all other accounts, a little something...

to be added on into my collection...

Today was abit gloomy as Jason did not drive, so I had to spend my whole journey on the MRT without seats clinging limply to my extremely HIGH-HEEEEEEELSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! Yup, go orchard must wear nice nice ma.. *Hiao*... xD We met @City Hall because I wanted to go over to fr3b to grab some samples... Both of us are famished after grabbing the samples, and due to my long-time face painting duration taken @home, we decided to grab something for a bite despite our plans for my beloved Sakae Teppanyaki..

Happened to pass by a very special store, what we had to do was --> to pop in for a munch since the menu outside was really irrestible... Our new hangout:

Japanese Curry Rice!!!

Japanese Kitchen is little unique stall is located at the little shops alongside Stamford House entrance. It might be a little small and crammy, but the food is just TOO GOOD than usual... *slrrrppp* Jason and I both ordered curry rice (mine was beef and his was pork) and while waiting for the food to arrive...

Here comes our miso soup and salad...
**
The shop is quite speedy in handling your orders and the main course arrived shortly after 10 minutes...

Japanese Pork Curry Rice (for jason)

Lychee Jazz

Let's grab a preview of POOR jason while I was grabbing pictures of the food...

Poor Him - Sleepy and Famished...

Anyway, all efforts was worthwhile, well @ the least which I thought...........

We were offered a SHOT which we pegged in the restaurant... =D

*********************

Took Bus77 to our next destination ---> ORCHARD and we shopped @313, the huge shopping mall with boring outlets (beside Orchard Central). Very troublesome-styled escalators, the mall is like any other ordinary mall layout except its oversize capacity.

We got bored just by roaming from the extreme top floor to the bottom, bought my DVDs from HMV and headed towards TAKA for an ice-cream and another roam before Cineleisure for our next movie escapade...

This time round, THE MOVIE WAS SIMPLY AWESOME!!!

CUTE, UNSTOPPABLE AND MUNK~A~LICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

---A MUST-WATCH for all ---

I am confirmed that their album track HOT N COLD must have sold MUCH MUCH BETTER than Kathy Perry's.... indescribable movie as its you must experience it yourself !!

We make our way for home after the movie and this time round, sadly, no toy-toy for me. =(

Memoirs of 2009 and Resolutions of New 2010! Roarz!! (Part I)

I haven't realise that I haven't been blogging since the very last post was like 29th December; almost 6 days!! OMFG!!! --> And as all of you whom may guessed... I am busy living my life to my FULLEST!! Therefore, I suppose that this entry will be a FREAKING LONG ONE!!!

Howdy Ho All, To A Happy 2010! *Popped Party Poppers!!*

Honestly, I didn't go to any clubs and neither had I been drinking to countdown for 2010. I led a perfectly SWEET countdown.......... AT HOME. I was playing an Online Game - MapleStory; and counting down to the new year killing mobs. =.="" My friends DID invite me to a countdown party @Siloso Sentosa, but I just didn't feel like going. Another pal actually wanted to buy me an extra ticket for DJ performance @Marina Barrage, but likewise, got turned down by me...

To me, counting down at HOME was really a New, Thrilling, Fun-Filled experience you actually shared with your parents; your family. Why? ---> Because I have been going out (counting in years) celebrating with friends ever since I "grow up". Thus, I suppose mum and dad should have the HONOR to share their happy countdown moments with me?

Memoirs of 2009
2009 is considered a HARSH and DRASTIC year which flew past too FAST... I could hardly recall this year since it passed like I was in HELL, too PAINFUL, DRASTIC to be explained... But nevertheless, there are just some memories which I couldn't be able to forget...

                                            -------------------- Just like --------------------

I understand that this is just a plain, normal digital camera which actually lags when you try to take quick shots. Despite all the (-)negative cons, I loved it just the way it is. The reason is plainly simple --> because I actually received this from my beloved mother! Mummy only works at a bakery, and she doesn't earn enough to cover the household bills, which is another reason why I actually shared the "debts" burden with her. I always longed a digital camera (since my polytechnic days) but I have not bought any of my own... and to think that she would just buy it because she thought that it might be useful for me?!

Which is why I have been able to post better shots and upload them to my bloggie for you readers! The truly touched and surprised part was that she had neither buy/nor celebrated my birthday or got me presents; even the smallest ones since ages ago... and I am sure that THIS deserved to be a sweet memory.

Another special memory for me is this:

SWEET, PINK, FASCINATING SONY ERICSSON COLLABORATION with HELLO KITTY!!!

Dont'cha Get Mesmerized By This Metallic Pink Phone?

I am just plainly fascinated by it... It was also another Birthday present; but this time round, its from Jason... It was actually all wrapped up nicely in "Hello Kitty" present paper, and came with a cute floral "Hello Kitty" Charm handpicked by him.. I am really touched that after all these years, he actually made the effort to remember my passion for "Hello Kitty"!!

Resolutions for 2010
I suffered very poor health since I was in secondary school days... I supposed it is because I haven't take good care of myself, even in my poly days... And when I went out to work part-time to survive my poly days, the LACK of sleep and regular drinking upsets my health. I even had to go for a scope sometime in mid2009 which was quite devastating for me. I got to know some health products from HABA and I actually tried "JUNKAI" for about 2n1/2 months before I continued and bought a second bottle.

Introducing PIC ACE / JUNKAI / a-LIPOIC ACID & CoQ10 Capsules

Before I actually continued and explain the effects of these supplements, firstly, I would like to thank Bing Bing for helping me out with the staff purchase. I have been receiving mailers/postcards from HABA since I also dunno when; but I have been ignoring all of that until I was walking past one of its outlet (located in raffles place mrt). I was just browsing through the outlet when JUNKAI's phrase caught my eyes...." helps to moisturize the skin and especially for those who drink alcohol and smokes..." I WAS SIMPLY FASCINATED!!! Why? The reason is plain simply ---> I had all these BAD BAD HABITS... and I was really conscious of my health so I bought and tried it out and the supply lasted about 2 & 1/2 months...

When I ran outta supply, I dialled up Bing and she was really kind and helped out with the purchases. Hmmm... I guess you all might scratch your head and wonder, " why you also bought PIC ACE and Q10?" Well, the reason is very simple...

Here's the superb part about PIC ACE ---> "...excellent antioxidant ability reinforces the defense against free radicals and delays the aging process of cells...helps to soothe pain during menstrual period..." Wow, Killing 2 Birds With One Stone!!! Buying PIC ACE is equal to buy UV protection with dual action of Evening Primrose!!! As for Q10, "... it has an effective detoxifying effect and offers the BEST balanced formula to boost FAT BURNING and METABOLISM. Aren't you ladies out there tempted at the slightest bit when you come upon such a phrase? I am a very NON-EXERCISE person, therefore, I am touched. If popping these pills helped to regain your health from failing you and keeps your figure maintained, WHY NOT do the investment?

Last but not least, MEJI's Amino Collagen!!

I am seriously too poor to afford really good ones, but I suppose that 5000mg is sufficient for me every 3 days (gosh I already revealed that I am POOR and cannot afford it daily la! Fuck U man!) together with the HABA supplements taken at daily intervals...

I am sure I have plenty of resolutions and my new-year-day escapades to pen down, but honestly I am SLEEPY and I gotta work tomorrow... So I will come back early to pen down my PART II earlier from work tomorrow I guess.

I am not a really greedy person, therefore, my MOST IMPORTANT 2010 resolutions are:

(1) EARN LOTS OF MONEY & STAY RICH (meaning I will EARN, SAVE & NOT SPLURGE for NO reasons.

(2) REGAIN my GOOD health, beauty and figure and MAINTAIN on it!! (I will NOT OVER-drink!)
