Anime One Piece World Collection

During my previous visit with dearie and his friends to Kallang Leisure Park, I made quite a number of purchases of my One Piece collection toys from La Tendo toy shop. And it was during that particular visit which made me caught sight of their toy collection on their window display. Honestly, it was really awesome and really a sight! and besides buying quite a few sets of the One Piece ships and figurines, I fell directly love at first sight with the the One Piece world collection which was launched a couple of months back...

I was so obsessed with this particular collection apparently because this set of figurines includes most of the characters which Luffy and his crew met and encountered during their adventures and it seemed to be the ONLY set which not only includes Luffy and his crewmates' figurines, yet whether the bad guys or the good guys are also featured in their monthly sets. Anyway, the shop assistant was kind enough to reserve the sets for me and it was the start of me getting the sets...

Since Banpresto had already launched 4 sets before I actually started purchasing, it was really a pain as each set cost about $200.00! Yes, it was like "WHAT THE FUCK" because nowadays most of my earnings will be dumped into this... Well, it can be considered as an investment for me, because I am really crazed with One Piece. Despite posting the album in my facebook, well, I decided to also post it here and hopefully, any One Piece fan whom saw it will be able to share my joy... ^^

One Piece World Collection #1

World Collection One is made up of mostly the bigshots
- Luffy, Garp (Luffy's Grandpa), Shanks (Luffy's Savior), Whitebeard (Edward Newgate),
Ace (Luffy's Brother), Mr. 2 (Bon Clay), Buggy and Dragon (Luffy's Dad).
Apparently this is the "most-difficult-to-find set
and it cost me $250 bucks to get it.
=.=

One Piece World Collection #2

Collection Set 2 is based on the "Thriller Bark" island where the zombies resides.
Set 2 includes Luffy and his crew
- Chopper, Robin, Franky,Brooks, Cindori, Dr. Hallback, and Perona's gouls.

One Piece World Collection #3

Continuing from #2, set #3 includes other characters from Thriller Bark.
Besides Luffy, it also includes Zorro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp, Perona, Kumashi and Oars.

One Piece World Collection #4

Leaving Thriller Bark behind, #4 is rather cooler and different from the other sets
since again, it includes all the bigshots but once more, a little different - the "Shichibukai"
(protected pirates from the Marines).
(from left: Crocodile, Jimbei, Bartholomew Kuma, Geko Moria,
Don Flamingo, Dracule Mihawk, Boa Hancock and Blackbeard).

Despite I loved these figurines so much, gosh, it seemed like I have spent stakes onto them,
and haiz,
i doubt that these would end this year because it seemed that the "10th set" has not been launched yet
and most probably i supposed that it would continue this coming next year.
=.=""
Anyway, really sad that Oda will be taking a month off One Piece...
I seriously hope he will draw soon!!

Madly in Love with One Piece Anime

I can't recall exactly since when... but definitely it was during my poly days
when I fell so madly in love with
One Piece Manga series!!

I could still remembered watching the anime aired on Starhub cable vision when
I caught a glimpse of about 10 minutes of the anime.
It was awesome; and also the start of me chasing One Piece.

And as a result, I started to collect the figurines and whichever I saw in Comics Connection...
 and this,
was part of what I've had bought during those days...

throughout all these years, I have been chasing the anime still, and recently,
I've became so obsessed, that I bought so much...

Recently went shopping with dearie at Kallang Leisure and

I found much more at a toy shop La Tendo...

and therefore,

that was the end of story of my savings.
***

A set of One Piece ship series - including
Luffy's Thousand Sunny, Whitebeard's Moby Dick,
Shanks's Red Force, Smoker's Marine,
 Dracule Mihawk's and Ace's.

A smaller version of ships too; which rocks back and forth when there is slight wind.
=P

Last but not least, IMPEL DOWN!!
This series is really cute because it features Level 1 to 6!!

Ground Level - Boa Hancock descends...

Level 1 and 2 - where Luffy meets Buggy

Level 3 and 4; the fight with Magellen

Level 5 and 5.5 ; Hee Haw ~ here comes Ivankov!

and finally; Level 6 where Jinbei and Crocodiles (besides Ace)
are imprisoned...

The day after I bought the figurines, dearie brought me to Chinatown Square,
where I managed to find some cheap-yet-cool figurines...
Very tempted,
and I bought 3 sets at a shot! (despite that I did not open the last set yet).

The One Piece Crew...

And another under the "Water 7" Theme..

Finally last but not least,

A gift from dearie -

THOUSAND SUNNY!

This is the bigger version and the most cool amongst the ships... The side compartments can be manuevered;
and Going Merry (edited version by Franky) sits inside it...
Besides, it comes with the full crew and it shoots canon!!

And so.... I finally managed to make some time and tidied a corner of my
"sort-of-dressing-table"
which is actually the top of my chest of drawers,
to display them...

Well, that's not the end of it, because now, I'm currently chasing some pre-order collection,
which launches monthly...

STAY TUNED!

Joke of The Day - Super Funny News from Singapore Teletext [REAL]

i was browsing my phone to clear some images when i happened to find these super interestingly funny articles posted by Singapore Teletext which i had asked dearie's father to forward them to me as apparently he had found them while he was reading the news unexpectedly from Singapore Teletext. Honestly, with such advancing technology, i supposed that such articles should NOT have happened since they should take the efforts of removing them instead of leaving them on the text. Anyway it was posted on the 26th June 2010. i suppose none of us ever view Teletext's news nowadays since the news are so commonly available from the internet.

Anyway, i hope that all can enjoy the laughter! If you are lazy to enlarge the image, i have also blogged them (together with the mistakes) in my entry below. Well, enough said; please scroll down for the laughter!

NEWS 01

"The PUB has stepped up efforts to prevent massive future floods, following the massive flooding on Orchard Road. It are (grammatically incorrect!) the most open to the idea of online matchmaking and dating (what has this crap got to do with the flooding?!).

And according to a survey by dating (i didn't know that dating agencies offered such surveys) surfaced that trapped debris at a culvert had caused floodwater to overflow onto Orchard Road last week. It is (grammatically incorrect!) installing zig zag gratings to try an online matchmaking agency (i supposed the gratings are an effort for the flood?!).

41% have used online dating compared to 26% last year. Camp Rd, Nassim Rd and behind Tanglin Shopping Center. (LOL! "camp", "nassim" and "tanglin" are part of the 46% whom USED online dating!!! What a joke!)

NEWS 02

OMG!). He was nabbed at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 and Avenue 8 after officers to 26% last year (this totally doesn't make any sense at all).

NEWS 03

The new clinical Research WSQ Certified training courses will cover skills areas such as research methodology and ethics, good clinical ammunition when he was arrested by Singapore Customs officers on July 27 last year. (Did he actually signed up for the WSQ training before he tried out the "mastered skills" to possess the pistol?!) He was then making a run to The industry has also come together to form a Clinical Research Consortium to cohesively look into building the manpower capability needed to support CNA.(totally absurd!)

Anyway, i hoped you all enjoyed the joke,

JOKE OF THE DAY!
