NFC Celebrations Outing [2010.05.29] Sentosa

It was a bright and sunny morning - great weather for a wonderful day!

Nevertheless, I woke up late despite promising mummy and daddy that I would be meeting them at 9:00am at outside Harborfront Station since I had stayed over at dearie's house the night before. It was almost 9:30am when dearie and I reached Harborfront. We had only woke up @around 8:30am and by the time we got prepared and departed, it was almost 9:00am. (=.=")

Dad and Mummy were honestly enthusiastic about the outing since they kept mentioning that they had not been to Sentosa since 10 years ago!! How long can you imagine that?! Anyway, bro and his girlfriend had joined in some fucking run, therefore, they missed the outing. While we had a few extra tickets, Dad brought along his friend (known as Uncle Peng) who turned out to be a superb tour guide in the later part!! (^^)

10:00am - Departure @Harborfront Car Park
With dearie's directions, we managed to find our way to the actual carpark whereby coaches are provided to reach our destination - Palawan Beach... We paid the entry fares and boarded the coach, but kind of waited quite awhile for the coach to fill up and depart @their timing. Approximately 15minutes later, finally, we "zoomed" off~~~

We passed the bridge (so-called custom) to Sentosa - it had been my first visit since IR launched...

I was so excited seeing the castle in the distance!! Definitely will I visit Universal Studios!!!

I want to go there~~~~

and I managed to catch a snap of Mummy and Dad while I was munching on my ham sandwich...

and ANOTHER!!! (haha)

10:30am - Palawan Beach (Queueing for Tickets)
We managed to reach Palawan Beach... what a sight!! Since it was quite hot and humid, dearie and I were to queue and collect the tickets while Dad and Mummy to walk around and see whether there are any activities which interests them. We were to contact via mobile after we collected the tickets. Truly it was "mountain people mountain sea" (lolx, "ren shan ren hai in chinese - meaning hell lotsa people)

We managed to find the counter for tickets collection...

The booths

The Queue

Poor Dearie still have a string of people in front of him..

But he feel SWEET with me beside him =P

11:00am - Palawan Beach (Departuring to Tiger Sky Tower)
At about 11:00am, we managed to queue and retrieve the tickets successfully, contacted Dad and Mummy before we "scratch" our heads and considered how to reach our destination since the train station for the beach area was closed.. We decided to "stroll" or should I say grabbed a long walk - walau really FAR FAR FAR for the coach station lor! Walk to the station seemed much longer since we only need ONLY ONE STOP to reach Tiger Sky Tower!!! I seriously wished I had a portal then, more convenient for me to travel around Sentosa! Luckily, to kill time while waiting for the "never-seem-to-arrive" bus, I managed to camwhore and also take more pictures of my family...

My Dad and Me...

Dont understand why but Mummy kept "siam~ing" from my cam...

A Glimpse of Dad's friend

11:35am - Tiger Sky Tower (Imbian Walk)
The ride was really fast since it was only 1 stop! It was the fucking awaiting time and departure time of the bus which took hell lotsa time!!! Don't ask me why I did not take any pictures in the coach too - as it was really fucking crowded!!!

Finally they agreed to take a better picture when we reached Imbian Walk...

Me and Mummy

with Dearie~

A family picture...

Tiger Sky Tower seriously looked like a Tiger-Brand Cigarette Stick...
It loomed high and majestic...
- so freaking high!!

The "elevator-like" platform finally reached the ground and it was our turns to board!!!
Honestly I was fucking scared since I had phobia with VERTICAL HEIGHTS!! I could still remembered the other time I cried while on my first ride on the roller coaster... I wondered history will ever repeat itself this time round @Sentosa (>.<)

We boarded and it raised..

I snapped myself when it was raising but I was too pre-occupied to be scared  -  as the views are fascinating...

When the Sky Tower reached its peak,
you practically have a rotating bird's eye view of the surroundings' scenery!!!
It was really AWESOME!!!

The panoramic view was so fantastic that I just kept continue snapping my camera away. When finally the elevated platform was about to start descending down to "earth" once again, I continued snapping - but this time round; snapshots of my family members and Dad's friend. I offered to take a shot of them for remembrance.
~Good Bye Sky Tower..

11:55am - Tiger Sky Tower (Imbian Walk) to Casino Area

Despite the fun, the ride was quite short but fantastic!! Mummy actually wanted to head back to Palawan Beach for the goodies bag but we managed to convince her to give up on that since it will take more sweat and more time to head back there. Besides, they were also quite tired of the morning journey and were also not really keen in joining in the activities held since they do not want to stay too long under the freaking hot sun! Uncle Peng then offered to show us around the Casino area since he was familiar around and suggested to walk as it was of walkable distance and with shelter. I'm really grateful to him as he really brought us around and was really kind and patient  -  as occasionally I stopped too long to take shots... (Cannot blame me wor cos I haven't been there lor!)
So-called Pyramid Fountain guarding the Casino

There it was...CASINO
~ so many idiots queuing to gamble their lucks.. (=.=)
We never wanted to gamble,
just to have a look and see how WOW it was said to be and continued around into the tunnel... I personally feel that the resort is nice...We even slacked around to view the architecture abit..
The interior of the hotel looked abit copied from Sunway Lagoon Pyramind Hotel... (zzzZ..)
We managed to find the FAT VERSION of Adam & Eve..

and their infamous Adam's Apple

Camwhored!
imagine how far we've walked!!
We walked till in front of Universal Studios..
Woots!! Hershey's Outlet
There was a couple proposing inside the store and dad cheered on for them.. Anyway the store is huge and full of CHOCOLATES!! - my favourite...

The World's Largest Hershey's Bar
It cost almost seventy dollars!! - if I had $ then, I would have carried it home... =(

A glimpse of Universal Studios' Interior..
I even saw Kung-Fu Panda Mascot walking around.. I swear I will come to Universal Studios soon...

02:00pm Departure
We really walked all the way and enjoyed ourselves very much; and I am really happy that Dad and Mummy enjoyed the event too! Honestly I had offered to bring them to Underwater World and other attractions, but they rejected since they complained that it was expensive and that I should not spend my $ unnecessarily. I am touched by them and I will definitely bring them to other attractions next time round soon.

We ended around 2:00pm before heading to Vivo City for lunch.

Thank you Nuff Nang and NFC for making this outing possible..
=)

Caught a few more snapshots of some mascots in stilts which I feel are kinda cute before we left...
