[movie] The Lovely Bones

The Lovely Bones - - A very intriguing film... I wondered why the show was still not launched in Singapore despite the trailer previewed quite many months ago... I watched the trailer quite some time ago with Jason, while watching other films and this trailer kept previewing before the movie started.

Anyway, I watched the film the other day online, and was deeply moved by it - despite that I don't really like the part about "heaven". It is not really a thriller but instead, more philosophical kinda film, and I really pitied those kids whom were murdered cruelly by the psychopath. In fact, I really hoped that the ending would be the kind that will show the murderer convicted, or either killed by another victim-to-be; with the bodies of Suzie Salmon found, but instead it was kinda ironic, but, honestly, I liked it anyway...

I really can't hardly wait to get the novel, as most novels are much more intriguing than the movie itself - - it tells more detailed stuff which we could not be able to grasp in the movies themselves, just like TWILIGHT!!

Haiz, because I spilled my whole water-bottle of Nescafe in my Longchamps bag... The good point is?? ---> Anyone who wanna buy Longchamps bag please go ahead; because the waterproof properties are really wonderful, since not a single trace of the coffee could be found outside of the bag itself!! 

Yes, as all would have imagined.......... the mess was in the bag itself!!! My GUCCI collection including everything else is drenched and soaked in the Nescafe. =(   *claps* and the bloody mess took me the whole night to wash up for the whole collection - guessed what i did? I soaked all the stuff in johnson baby body wash solution in a bucket to get rid of the fucking coffee smell and stacked all on a tray to dry out in the room temperature.. Worse of all, MY IPOD lifespan expired because of that, and half-page of all pages of my Charmy Kitty Organiser 2010 were stained; and I could not get a new one because it was long sold-out.

I wept; pondered and stayed up till 0230am yesterday since I could not fall asleep due to this serious stupidity and carelessness of mine... Well, all I could do to console myself was to be optimistic; pondering that it might be a good sign - since new stuff do not come if the old stuff are not gone...

Everything comes with Pros and Cons. Or so? that was what I thought and I converted the BAD BAD thoughts into GOOD thoughts in my head:

 - Thank god that only the casing was soaked but my PSP3000 was not damaged despite my ipod DEAD!!

 - Thank god that I can finally put up my keychain to good use since my GUCCI pouch is still undergoing drying

 - Thank god I have an extra makeup pouch since my GUCCI pouch was also a victim of the coffee scare...

 - Thank god I have extra thumbdrives & extra bags

 - Thank god only the pages of the organizer was damaged and not the photo or the cover (since it was covered with plastic originally)

 - Thank god it was just daily necessities which are damaged and not some important documents...

 - Thank god for giving me a chance to RENEW everything...

But nevertheless, sadly I do NOT have an extra card holder... =( cannot bring along name cards now.. Anyway, since there are so many optimistic PROs, why should I still grumble about the CONs? $$ is never enough, but it can be earned back by hardwork; the same as for the collection I bought and owned for so long...

Lovely yet Hectic; Start of Year

Though its not the first day of CNY, nevertheless, its still CNY...

Pre-CNY had been a hectic period of time, everyday rushing like a MAD horse, and everyday rushing around tidying and packing; shopping and working like crazy. While CNY reached, its still the ever-madness; gatherings, sharing precious moments with loved ones and MORE MORE gatherings....

Thus, my lovely bloggie was left abit DEAD for quite awhile, with me busy tendering with other chores... My lovely HABA supplements ran out quite awhile, since my pay was delayed @ that moment of time, and it got me quite awhile before I went down to Takashimaya to meet up with Bing and got it from her...

I could still remember that it took us almost awhile to finally meet up and laze around in yoshinoya, cos she was serving this fucking troublesome auntie, asking lame questions "can you introduce me the skincare arh? anyway, I also use HABA de...so what is this, what is that? blah blah blah..." 

No 1 - If you are a loyal HABA customer, please go for those XTRA LARGE bottles, and NOT questioning the product's usefulness.

NO 2 - I suppose HABA provide monthly newsletters, then why in the very first place did u asked around? For fun?! (Please lah, if that was your daughter servicing when the work hours are up, won't you curse and swear?

NO 3 - All products take some time to show their effects, and HABA is one of those MID-RANGE products, want faster anti-aging effects? Consume ZELL-V and go for SK-II; as you can see, some skin are really beyond CURE!!! >.<

Bing wasted very much of her saliva and alas, finally that lady bought "something", honestly I felt that the amount which she bought is really wasteful of the amount of saliva Bing spent! (hrrrmp!!) Anyway, who could get any angrier once the delicious yoshinoya's all time favourite beef and salmon platter was placed in-front of her/him?

Besides going out shopping and tidying up the all-time messiness of  my beloved room, I was practically spending my time figuring out how to fix up the pieces!! *screams*

Hahaha... I was joking about the *screams* and headache fixing up the pieces of this jigsaw because it belongs to my all time favourite anime "One Piece". Loving this Anime so much and it was really chicken-feet stuff with all these cute lovely characters memorised hard in my head. ^^ The tedious part was only which all the characters are finished fixing and I had to figure out all by myself all those similar color background and mugs!! Anyway, Jason and I practically finished part of the jigsaw within 24 hours; and I am really so proud of myself!!! I practically finished everything by myself after he left!! Total time spent on this One Piece Puzzle: 18 hours EXACT after the jigsaw is bought... =)

 

Isn't it lovely hanging on the wall of my room?? Woots, I couldn't help but to love it..

Another issue which made me spent lots, lots and lots of time on it was on my sweet camera which mummy had bought for me for last year's birthday gift!

I am sure in LOVE with it despite my poor workmanship....

TADANG!!

Yeap, with my piggy hands besides my ugly workmanship, I am nevertheless, very very proud of myself for bling~ing my camera up!! =P Together with my DIY handphone charm chain with the fluffy Hello Kitty pouch and Hello Kitty fluff-ball, introducing my completed SAMSUNG camera. =)

This year's CNY clashed with Valentines, but still, thanked god that the cinemas are always opened... This time round, I caught....

 

WOLFMAN

"Intriguing" with lotsa suspense and action!! Though the show wasn't as much grotesque as I had expected, it is truly not for the faint-hearted though... I bet you could be dreaming bad nightmares with werewolf scares after watching it?! =P It is nevertheless the best "Lycanthropy" werewolf show I have ever watched besides Twilight's cool werewolves..

Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief

I am kinda amazed at how they blended myths and legends into such an ordinary "present" film. I loved the characters, the plot of the story, the venues which they filmed and not to mention those special effects.. Hmm, hard to describe but I just loved everything!

To summarise everything in short, I really love special occassions, despite all the hectic and tedious hours spent, and I am very much amazed at how fast the first quarter of 2010 had passed! March is on the way coming; just in a blink of an eye. Anyway, special ocassions = to special presents and gifts = to splurge a little for myself...

Finally after 1 and 1/2 years of consideration and longing for a new wallet, I decided to grab something more monotoned and stylish...

a Long Dark-Brown Marc by Marc Jacobs which I am currently soooo in love with...

Finally goodbyes to my short coach; I do not have to worry much about the space consuming messiness of my daily habits... =)

 

Hopefully, the leather is durable unlike those disappointing GUCCI soft leather... I just simply love the simplicity of this wallet which is made of soft lamb. Its compactness and spaciousness allows style yet it is much lighter than Chloe's Paddington's padlock (I hoped my spelling is correct). Besides, I hope that more $$$ will come my way into my wallet since its new (LOLz)...

Photoshop Rules...

I always thought that when CNY is nearing; after all the pack-ups and stuffs like SPRING-CLEANING, I would be able to have more time for myself. Nevertheless, the amusing part is that " I AM SOOOOO FUCKING BUSY! Honestly, nothing's wrong with my time management for this round, but I seriously dunno whether I should consider myself "suay" or not, because all my time management and plannings are usually RUINED by some fucking people who cannot plan and manage their time BETTER!!

Yeap, as all can imagine.... My SPRING-CLEAN schedule was ruined; my bedroom (i supposed) was "1/2 tidy; 1/2 messy. (=.=) I did not help out any chores for the other parts of the house and the WORST of all; this year I DO NOT have extra $$ to help out most of the CNY goodies. I supposed mum is actually more "sadded" than me...

I gained MORE experience with coping my time management... I tried out photoshop the other day; and very very honestly, I am pretty sure that I am MERSMERIZED by it...

My Graduation Picture

This is supposedly a NICE FAMILY picture; but honestly, the answer to the question "why till now I did not get this picture developed is because that fucker spoilt the whole thing... (Anyway, I do not wished to describe in details because I am confirmed that I would not be able to finish my story even if I blogged till the next morning)...

BUT!!! NOW......

I really wished to thank the developers of photoshop!! ^^ 

PHOTOSHOP RULES!!! IT WORKS MIRACLES...

I swear that I am a total computer noob and neither have I ever tried this software itself; in fact, I searched for the software and tried it cos I really really (very badly) wanted to develop this lovely graduation picture with my mum and cousin...

Yeap!! Finally I am able to get that fucker off my sight!!! Woots!! I understand that I did not do a great job; and whatever I did was just like the very basics which far most of the amateurs could have done it much better than me...

After this dreamy photoshop worked magic, I decided to go for the next one cos my hands start to get itchy...

Last but not least; I photo-shopped another picture which was badly dimmed...

 

 

Honestly, I am quite satisfied with all this photo-shop~ing despite I could not really get all the exposures correct and the picture turned out to be a bit blurry... I really hope that some expertise could be given to me as advice so that I can actually shop-it better! =)

Well, nonetheless; I supposed that I can finally start preparing to organise all the photographs which I would like to get it developed!

Haven't been blogging for awhile; since payday was delayed and I was feeling moody... No $$ = No outing (haha =P); therefore, I was being a "guai baobao" (good baby) spending pleasure time @home.

Nonetheless, I DID go and catch some movies; and this time round, it was:

LEGION

The show was rather all about Angels than demons; with a very LAME storyline. I caught the preview months earlier while I was going for other movies before the movie started and the commercials appearing... and therefore, I told Jason that I DIE DIE wanna watch the movie!!

Well, we caught it, together @Causeway Point days before the movie stopped showing. Despite the long anticipation, and abit "DL" (since Jason was late), I was super enthusiastic when the show started...

Anyway, as most of you might have guessed, LAME SHOW it was:

(1) LAME location - the whole show was projected "in the middle of nowhere"; a so-called town and no other locations whereby all actors/actresses are stucked in a fucking old, crappy stop-over

(2) LOW production? - The scenes are all filmed in the restaurant stop-over throughout the 3/4 of the entire show and some cliffs (=.=ll) which I supposed are easily available in any state of America; furthermore, the so-called possessed souls aren't grotesque enough man!!

(3) LAME storyline - Who cares about those possessed people?!! It is so fucking GAY since fallen angel (can't remember the angel's name anyway) defied GOD's orders and protected the so-called HERO's baby - the HERO who was selfless and brave whereby he actually accepted a woman he loved (pregnant with a kid by another guy) selflessly and stayed by his dad's side after the mum got divorced with him and continued wasting his life in-the-middle-of-nowhere's stop-over..

Luckily, Gabriel (the BADDIE angel) was handsome enough. The rest of all, are all FUCKING CRAP!!! The whole story cum show just doesn't make sense!!! WTF right?? Since the fucking location to be filmed is in the middle of nowhere whereby a couple actually got trapped since their car ran outta gasoline; yet those fucking people (who are possessed) could actually travel from "dunno where" and all ended up at the same stop-over without their gasoline running out! =.=lll

C'mon gimme a break! The most senseless part is:

THERE IS NO FUCKING ENDING FOR THE SHOW!!!

Imagining yourself sitting for 2 and 1/2 hours or so waiting, waiting and anticipating for much suspense yet the last part seeing the HERO and his so-called girlfriend carrying a kid (the baby was ugly by the way! I don't understand why the production team could not just get a cuter baby)
; carried machine guns travelling in a jeep to "dunno where"... The fallen angel was killed by Gabriel @the part before the ending but yet he could be revived back into an angel... (=.="")

Honestly, besides AVATAR, that was another fucking FUCKED-UP movie, except for this time, its in my 2010's MOST FUCKED-UP MOVIE list.
