3rd Consecutive Weekend with Melia =)

The 3rd Consecutive Saturday with my dear friend Amelia... =)

As usual, I waited for her to finish work..... just that this round something more special happened--- IT RAINED!! How poorthing we were, because it was still drizzling a little while we made our way down to TAMAYA restaurant...

Toku joined us for dinner...

Anyway, there are still ebi tempura, maki and the beef/pork palette thingy... haha but I just dont feel like uploading too many pictures because it really makes me feeling very hungry even though I am just looking at it...


Lovely lady Wanqiu was there with her pals too... Actually it was Qiu whom jio me down to PLAY... As I never go before (i am very curious).. haha to go down and have a view of my "Jie Meis"

Located at Murray Street, PLAY is really a very nice playground hahaha for girls, for guys and for, gxys..!! XD Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and music...

Sadly, Qiu left with her friends to grab supper a moment after we reached... =(

So, we shifted to The Arena...


Toku was wearing SANDALS and a pair of STRAIGHT-CUT BERMUDAS!! XD
Therefore, he went back to change before we head down to Clarke Quay..


It was amelia's first visit to The Arena.. haha we took pics in the toilet cos she thought the full length mirror was cool.. nevertheless, we failed due to the bright flash.. >< So we switched a position...


I am really glad that both toku and amy enjoyed themselves because we seriously do not expect toku to like such music..

We stayed over @ toku's apartment after the clubbing... This babe promised to chat with me till morning.. but she was so tired she fell asleep... We actually planned to go wakeboarding the very next day but too bad there were no slots avaiable =(

Despite having shedded calories from the dacings the night before, we had a very heavy br~unch!


Poor Toku.. because for the past two events of dining~ he had to wait for us to take the pics of the glorious food before he can eat... See how clean he finished the soup!! xD

Before we headed for home... Amelia managed to find this unique little ice-cream shop @sunshine plaza..



Amelia had bailey's and pear while i had lemonade and baileys... really unique ice creams they had.. A MUST TRY!!!

I can't wait to meet up with this babe the next upcoming weekend... =)

4th of July

I am SURE that nobody will be happier than me to know that Amelia has 3 off-day-sundays!!! That weekend saturday was the 2nd one I spent with her consecutively...

That was the saturday spent with her after my checkup and the medication leave given by the doc for me to rest...

We went ORGANIC that night after (as usual) I waited for Melia to off work... =)

Have heard Amelia praising that Organic food is "Sumptuous" for quite a couple of times despite not being able to try it myself since I haven't been going organic... Anyway, due to my poor health, we went to the little organic cafe (just beside TCC opposite Cineleisure..

Amelia ordered a creamy type salmon (whoops I totally forgotten the name) while I ordered a fried codfish (with blueberry sauce). The serving portion is small but feeling... Its neither greasy nor it gives an oily after taste!


Drinks on the menu are as refreshing and light as the food they served!! I ordered a "slimming tea" which was written on the menu to improve our digestive system and provide a slimming effect.. Amelia ordered something like a shake.. but nevertheless, urgh! it gave out a lavender smell... Kinda strong for me, because it tasted like some kinda "indian's jasmine hair oil" =X

We grabbed a drink @Acid Bar after the dinner.. Just a glass (a little one) to just sit down and enjoy our conversation while listening to the music... If only the drinks menu of the other clubs are as innovative as the Acid's... Brave Amelia tried a cocktail despite that she seldom drink...

Managed to play with Yoshi for awhile before he went to sleep @Amelia's house.. I really wish I own a puppy too...

Me and this old friend really haven't been catching up ourselves for a long time... I could still remember it was about 7am when I make my way back home...

my NUH checkup

2nd of July

I could still remember the night before I went to the hospital, that very night, I dunno why, but I just couldn't fall asleep... Many thoughts actually bypassed my mind -- going like "am I going to die?" "did I suffer from some incurable disease?" "will the treatment actually make me go bald?" etc etc etc...

I am a hundred percent vain pot~ therefore, I really do not wish to die an ugly death... Worst still, the thought of writing a will before going to the hospital do crossed my mind during that period of time..

Anyway, it really wasn't anything very serious - like going for an operation. I was only told to fast, will be given a sedation (anesthetic) before I fall into a deep sleep (like sleeping beauty) and to do a scope by the doctor in charge.

That fateful morning before I was given the sedation, it really gave me the creeps~~ everybody present in the "so-call-operation theatre" since all the nurses and my specialist doc wore like going to do a long fateful battle (-__-) ! Everything was seriously the same as you will anticipate on those ER dramas...

Mummy bidded me goodbye before the theatre door closed... Doc gave the sedation since all the nurses present couldn't find my vein (i was told to have super fine vein)!! The doc did gave a super lame joke ~" I was regarded as 007 James Bond as I can find the thinnest vein!!)

Finally Sleeping Beauty fall into a deep sleep .. (I skipped all the fearsome parts like checking pulse, blood pressure etc etc...)

Anyway, thats the report I received after the effect of the sedation wore off...

Yup! Thats the result of my scope... Scary right? I really feel all humans are ugly on the inside... Fortunately for me, there's nothing wrong with my stomach, neither to mention my frequent gastric pains...

I AM NORMAL~~!! Doctor said I DID have an infection.. nothing that serious despite having to go for another checkup at the 26th of July... I could only say "thank god" and "sorry mummy" for making you worried.

The tearful but happy face of yours really made me touched and guilty for being a bad child of yours while I was young. Therefore, I will definitely be more guai guai and filial to you from now on...

In The Arena

Haven't been blogging lately since I have got no time to blog ... Most of my time was spent outside with my pals..

Therefore, my bloggie posts are gonna be backdated...

Lets backdate it to the day whereby my poly sweetie spent with me before the week I was admitted to NUH for checkup~~

Sorry sweetie... I always got problem with time to upload pics to com.. erhem, jolene's a lazy little girl.. xD




Who says that clubbing needs to be a crowd? It only matters whom ya club with and whether you enjoyed it or not... Its just the same fun even if there are only two pretty ladies.. =)

This happens to be one of the many occasions where me n Qiu had fun alone ourselves.. We drank @Harry's (somewhere in SG) (shhh...) and I really enjoyed it.. I could only say that during that period of time whereby I was still counting down on my NUH's checkup, I was really worried because I do not know where is wrong with my body parts (haha...)

Anyway, thanks babe, for being there asking me not to worry and sharing your mummy's hospital experience with me!! ^^

I cannot express much in words, but can only say that I appreciate it!!

Tamaya

The huge commotion last friday was long forgotten because such people doesn't deserved to be remembered...

Waited for Amelia to finish her work last saturday night and we had dinner @Tamaya . Melia actually suggested to try the organic food cafe opposite Cine's, but I actually had a craving for Tamaya's food since the very last time i went there was dunno how many years back haha...

Well anyway, we ordered something cold - Soba since the freaking restaurant was so stuffy after the long walk we had from Taka to there...

Actually Amelia wanted "yaki" stuff like shitake etc... but unfortunately, seems like everything we liked and ordered are "unavailable" that day so we only can order other stuff.

Lolz.. normally i do not intro food because before i have the time to take pictures of them, I am too busy gorging down the food.. See ? This lady is very engrossed in taking professional shots of the food hahaha too busy to notice me taking a picture of her...


Tadang~ This is all the food the two of us are going to gorge down that night...

Me: Waa... order so much how can finish? Don't order so much lei, i recently gained alot of weight, very fat ler i wanna slim down..

Melia: Haha, since you fat liao ma, then eat lor, doesn't make any difference anyway... (-_-)"

Waliew... She lidat say - sad sia!! But anyway, she is a girl who doesn't lie, but haha i don't really care anyway so we just ate all down!!! xD Haiyo, but since Melia don't lie I must really start pushing myself to slim down ler....

Cant believed we actually finished all the food... Wanted to have a "matcha" ice cream dessert also cannot because the shop closed. Nevertheless, we made our way to Cineleisure Kbox because we couldn't find Diamond Dust...


We sang from chinese to japanese to hokkien songs... The funny part is " WE ARE NOT DRUNK!!" Haha, we drink apple sodas only hor... I could still remember those time when the 2 of us drank tequilla shots directly from the bottle and could even finish the whole bottle within 2 hours!!


We sang almost every japanese song we know because they are so hard to find in KBox!!! How I wish that they also use the same artist finding system for japanese songs..


I promise the next time we meet up I will be slimer haha...Anyway, hope to meet you soon for our yakiniku special! Take care my pal, no matter how long it has passed, it just seems like just the day before for our close friendship! =)
